Newly redesigned, the Trance X frames are 244 grams (touch over .5 pound) lighter than 2007 Trance (4.2 inch frame), yet has 5 inches of travel. Further, Giant built a frame that is 13.75% stiffer than 2007 Trance. Amazingly the Trance X0 is 200 grams heavier than aluminum Anthem frame (3.5 inches of travel). The secret is in the hydro forming.
